The SA #1 is on the line this Saturday, February 14 with the running of the South Australian Street Stock Title at Murray Machining & Sheds, Murray Bridge Speedway.
Close to 70 entries have been received for weekend’s event, including newly crowned National Champion Nathan Thorne who will start as the favorite after back to back wins on Feb 7 and Feb 11. The local charge is headed by National Title runner-up Heath Thorne, top qualifier at the National Title Darren Brumfield and regular MMS racer Drew Flatman. NT’s Jake Kouvimaki has been competitive at MMS all season, while Victorian duo Jayden Blomely and Matt Nelson were both on the pace at Midweek Madness.
The format will see 3 rounds of heats, before the C Main, B Mains and the A Main feature.
In support action, the Classics Saloons/Super Sedans will be on track for a series of demonstration runs.
Gates open at 4.00pm, with racing from 5.00pm.
