The 360/LS Sprintcars return to the Murray Machining and Sheds Murray Bridge Speedway this Saturday night for the third South Australian event of the 2025/26 season, and the second at the Murray Bridge venue. Currently the nomination list includes an impressive line-up of 14 drivers, with the State Series set for a new winner as both previous A-main victors (Ben Morris & Lisa Walker) are not on the official entry list.
Despite the omissions the entry list is still extremely strong with the likes of Mark Caruso, Hayden Pitt and Keke Falland all making their return to local competition. All three are previous 360ci South Australian Champions and Caruso was the Australian 360ci Champion in 2023.
Broken Hill resident Brendan Guerin has been in outstanding form of late making the dashes at both Tolmer and Timmis recently while Jack McCarthy qualified on the front row at the Murray Bridge event back in October and was the best finishing LS powered car in fourth.
In addition to McCarthy fellow LS powered competitors Bailey Heinrich, Hayden Vickers, Bronson Mauro, and Simon Richards will also be on track, with Richards making his season debut after Sam Martin handled the driving duties at the opening two events.
The event will also see the debut of a trio of Bordertown teenagers with Isla (18) and Hilton Rowett (16) and Erin Virgin (16), who is the Niece of Dylan Jenkin, all set to compete. All three have graduated from AIDKA Dirt Karts where they have all captured major Titles right across the state. Although it will be their official debut, all three have practiced on several occasions at the Tolmer Speedway in their hometown.
Victorians Brett Clarke, who will drive for the Mildura based McClure Racing, and Thomas Baker complete the nominations.
