Murray Bridge Speedway will be implementing changes to their Pit Entry for the upcoming 2024-2025 Season. These changes are being introduced to replace the previous lengthy sign-in process and reduce overall waiting times in order to provide a more efficient entry process for competitors and crew members.

The entry process will be simplified to:
– scanning of your pre-purchased entry ticket and;
– sighting of your current valid Speedway Australia License in order to receive your Pit Entry armband.

As a result, all Pit Entry tickets must be purchased online in advance through our official ticketing platform at www.speedwaytickets.com.au.

Key updates to note:

Speedway Australia License Requirement: All ticket holders entering the pits must possess a valid Speedway Australia License, either a full annual Driver or Mechanics License or a One Day Pit License. This requirement ensures compliance with safety regulations and upholds the standards of our racing community. One Day Pit Licenses are available online only via https://www.speedwayaustralia.org/forms/sa_pit_licence.aspx
The minimum age for Pit Entry is 12 years old with a Guardian.

Digital Waiver Acceptance: When you purchase your Pit Entry ticket online, the transaction will include the Speedway Australia Digital Waiver that must be digitally signed as an acceptance of the terms and conditions. This will replace the hardcopy version that was previously used at the entry gate.

No Walk-Up Pit Entry Tickets: Please be advised that walk-up Pit Entry tickets will no longer be available for purchase on the day at the pit entry box. To ensure your pit access, kindly purchase your tickets online in advance.

Pit Gate Opening Time: The pit gates will open from 1:00pm onwards on race days. Entry to the pits will be strictly limited to individuals holding pre-purchased Pit Entry tickets, ensuring a controlled and organised entry process for all participants.

Pit Party: Access to the pre-race Pit Party will also be limited to online ticket holders: General Admission or Reserved Seating ticket holders.

Pit Upgrades from General Admission: Anyone who enters the venue with a General Admission or Reserved Seating ticket and wishes to upgrade during the event to a Pit Entry ticket will now also require a valid Speedway Australia License (Driver, Mechanic or One Day Pit License) to be able to enter the Pits.

Exemptions: The only exemptions to these new Pit Entry requirements are Junior Sedan & Junior Formula 500 competitors, who must have a Guardian sign on their behalf at the entry gate, and; Demolition Derby competitors who will be required to sign-in at the gate.

These changes reflect our commitment to improving the overall experience at Murray Bridge Speedway and prioritising the safety and satisfaction of our participants. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we implement these changes to the pit entry process.

Competitor divisions should have already received an email regarding the introduction of this process, however should you have any questions or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us at office@murraybridgespeedway.com

Thank you for your continued support; we look forward to welcoming you to an upcoming race season at Murray Bridge Speedway!
